Situated on the shores of the Guadalcacin Lake our San Jose Park opened its doors for the first time in August 2015. What a superb location – all the plots for sale in the section for the privately owned residential holiday homes and second hand static caravans have superb panoramic views of the lake and mountains beyond. Our San Jose park lies a mere 5 minutes drive from the busy village of San Jose Del Valle which offers a wide range of facilities including shops, supermarkets, post office, cafes, restaurants and banks.

There are three distinct sections to the park - an area for touring caravans, an area of letting homes and a more spacious area for privately owned retirement, mobile and holiday homes, and an area for lodges. Apart from the superb location a special mention must be made of the wonderful winter microclimate on the lake. Unlike other inland parks in Andalucía, which are often at altitude, San Jose Del Valle is situated at sea level in a sheltered location making it an excellent choice for those escaping the cold British winter.

The lakeside restaurant also deserves special mention. Although opening its doors for the first time in August 2015 the lakeside restaurant has already gained a considerable reputation among locals and visitors alike – and very inexpensive for buying quality food! The park has a sandy beach and lake swimming is possible throughout the year. The park owners also own the water sport, fishing, and excursion rights to the entire 10 mile long lake.

Nearby Places of Interest

Arcos De La Frontera (10-15 minute drive) - Arcos is a stunning historic town perched on a limestone ridge and is often referred to as the gateway to the “Peublos Blancos” (white villages of Andalucia). Excellent restaurants and full of character with a visit to the Parador a must!

Jerez (20 minutes) - The sherry capital of Spain, this excellent and historic city is also the home of the world famous motor racing circuit. For those enjoying retail therapy Jerez also has the second largest shopping centre in Spain!

Sanlucar De Barramedra (40 minutes) - Situated at the mouth of the river Guadalquivir where the river meets the beaches of the Costa De La Luz, Sanlucar is a must for an evening out – the street life, restaurants and flamenco bars create a unique atmosphere.

Cadiz (35 minutes) - A great historic port city. A 16th century exploration base. Cadiz has more than 100 watchtowers, an 18th century cathedral with a golden dome and views of the sea and city.

Costa De La Luz Beaches (35 minutes) - Our San Jose De La Valle park is an easy 30 – 40 minute drive to mile after mile of superb beaches and Gibraltar is only an hour or so away.

Walking, Cycling, & Nature

The area surrounding our San Jose Park is excellent for walking and cycling as well as having rich and varied wildlife. You won't have to venture far from your lodge in Andalucia!
